Pharmacy Council Inspection Team Visited KMU-IPS

The inspection team of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan paid   visit to Khyber Medical University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (KMU-IPS), Peshawar.   The Team during visit met with Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq Vice Chancellor KMU, dean basic medical sciences Prof. Dr. Jawad Ahmad and director KMU-IPS Dr. Sami Siraj, where as other faculty and admin staff was also present at the occasion. 
Prof. Dr. Jawad Ahmad dean basic medical sciences apprised the team about the need and objective of establishment of a unique kind of Pharmaceutical Sciences institute at KMU being a sole public sector medical university of the province. Dr Sami said we are committed to provide the modern facilities to our students at their door steps.  Earlier the team visited the newly established institute of pharmaceutical sciences. 
Dr. Sami Siraj director KMU-IPS briefed the team, about the infrastructure, building, space, adequate physical facilities for academic purposes like lecture halls, laboratories, common room, laboratory equipments related to different laboratories, seminar library, computer laboratory, information technology and future plans.
The inspection team felt satisfaction over the infrastructure and facilities provided by KMU-IPS and assured for recognition of KMU-IPS in the upcoming meeting of pharmacy council of Pakistan to be held on 1st January 2022 at Islamabad. In the end VC KMU thanked the inspection team and presented shields to the team members.
